Jill, Shane and families,
To say I am shocked and saddened to learn of Earls passing would be an understatement. Growing up I was part of the Easter family, spent a lot of time on Fairway, Jill was older but Danny was one of my very best friends growing up. Shane I got to know later through hockey and still proud to call you a friend today.
I hadn't seen Earl in a long time but I imagine he never changed, not even a little.
Please accept my deepest condolences and heart felt prayers at this time, on your loss.

We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Earl. Our condolences to Shane, Jill and your families. We grew up together as one big family on Fairway Crescent and we have many fond memories of walking over to visit him at his Charleston Lake home. He was always friendly, good with the jokes and stories and a great host. "Earl the Pearl" will be missed.

My sympathy for your loss to all the family. I remember the “good old days, when Morley and Earl were off to a hockey tournament somewhere with their young hockey players. Many fun times in those days!

Shane, Jill and Families,
We are very saddened to hear of your loss. The Blinn family had the pleasure of spending half a century with Earl and families at the lake. Times were fun and full of laughter. Swimming, card games, boating, fishing and more filled the time at the lake. Earl always found ways to entertain us all. He had the knack of sneaking up to you under water when you were least expecting. Even at the age of 80+, Earl was still able to master a perfect dive into the lake with his toes pointed as his body disappeared under the water.
Someone so special can never be forgotten. The beautiful log cabin will be a reminder to us all and forever.

Dear Shane, Kathy, Jill, Kirby and families
We are so sorry for your loss. Spending every summer at the Lake we got to know Earl very well. Earl was fun, kind, and loved to help all kids improve their skiing, swimming, or any other water activity. He always had time for us. He loved to tease and was known to tell a few fish ‘tales’ about the big one that got away. We have so many great memories of Earl from the Lake that will never be forgotten.
Jeanne (Blinn) Atkins and family.

Dear Shane and Jill and families,
We are saddened to hear about the passing of Earl or Uncle Earl as we fondly called him. Uncle Earl had such a kind heart, and was a selfless person. He spent hours with my sisters, brother and I on the lake teaching us all how to water ski, taking us tubing, long distance swims to the island and back and countless other cottage adventures. He always had a smile on his face, and was such a big tease! He was a huge part of our lives growing up on Charleston Lake and he made those years memorable and special and just fun. My dad would always say you couldn’t have asked for a better neighbour and friend than Earl Easter. Please accept our sincere condolences in your time of loss.
Sincerely,
Cathy (Blinn) Empey and Family.
