Obituary of Michael Gordon Sherman
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Michael Gordon Sherman on Thursday June 7th, 2018 at the Brockville General Hospital Charles St. Site at the age of 43. Michael is survived by his loving wife Tamara, his daughter Isabella and son William. Among those who will cherish his memory forever are his mother Carol Sherman Hubert (Gaetan) and the late Ralph Sherman; siblings Colleen Bant (Ron), Robert Sherman (Karen), David Sherman (Sara) and Lori McAlear; mother and father in-law Jennie and Tom Elliott; brothers in-law Brent (Kate) and Ross (Katie); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Michael will forever be remembered as a kind and decent man. He loved his family fiercely and was passionate in supporting the “Arts”. As Production Coordinator at the Brockville Arts Centre for 15 years, he made the magic happen. If you have ever seen a show at the BAC, you have experienced his incredible work.
Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville, on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday June 12th, 2018 at 2 p.m., followed by a special “Celebration of Michael’s Life” at the Brockville Art’s Centre, 235 King St. W., Brockville, all are welcome.
