Obituary of Del McKay

Peacefully entered into rest at the Elisabeth Bruyère Hospital in Ottawa on Thursday March 29, 2018, Kenneth Delbert McKay of Ottawa, aged 78 years.  Beloved husband of the late Caryl (Smily) McKay.  Loving father of Colin McKay (Jenny) of Ottawa and Andrew McKay (Edyta) of Toronto.  Cherished grandfather to Courtney (Taryn), Kate, Henry, Jack and Kaia.  Dear brother of Nola Morrison (the late John); and brother-in-law of Frances and Susan Smily.  Dear son of the late Ken and Helen (Covey) McKay. Fondly remembered by his nephews Randy (Michelle), Tim (Trudy) and Chris Morrison (Erin) and many friends.

Del was a dedicated public servant and avid traveler.

A Private Family Service of Remembrance will be held.  Interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  In memory of Del, donations to the Elisabeth Bruyère Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville.
