It is with great sadness that we offer Colin, Andrew and families our heartfelt condolences.
We had the pleasure, enjoyment and just plain outright fun of serving with them in New Delhi circa 1985 - 88. Prior to this, I served with them briefly in Hong Kong circa 1977- 79.
We also managed to keep in contact through the years and further visited with them in Ottawa and then later with your Dad.
Just so many fond wonderful memories.

Our deepest sympathy to Colin, Andrew and their Families.
Also to Nola and the McKay Family.
I first met Del & Caryl in Athens in 1969 and we struck up a friendship almost immediately. They were a wonderful couple. Colin was 4 weeks old when we met and I also remember when Andrew was born about 2 years later.
Del will be missed - he was a great father to his boys and he loved all his family.
Sincerely,
Aileen Dolan and Carlos Medina.

Dear Colin and Andrew:
Please accept our sincerest condolences on the loss of your Dad. You both were too small to remember (plus you were constantly in motion), but Elisabetta and I had the pleasure of working with Del when he was posted to the Canadian Consulate General in Milan from 1974-77.
We were in the Commercial Division and your Dad ran the Immigration Office on the floor below on Via Vittor Pisani. Del ran a very efficient shop and his employees both liked and respected him a lot. I'm sure it was the same wherever he served in earlier and subsequent postings.
I'll always fondly remember Del and Caryl for their lively and irreverent senses of humour. He brought the humour and personal touch to his working life as well. We were honoured when they attended our wedding in Portofino Vetta shortly before we returned to Canada in the spring of May of 1977. I think of him whenever I take the train or car through Brockville.
