Entered into rest peacefully at his residence on Thursday February 24th., 2005. Norman Albert Mielke of Brockville aged 81 years. Beloved husband of the former June Halfpenny. Father of Wayne (Jo-Anne) and Janice Stevenson(Roger) both of Brockville and Dency Cornelisse (Tom) of Burlington. Grandfather of Tracy, Scott, Chandra, Rian, Kyle, Tyler, Dana, Matthew and Mitchel. Great-grandfather of Sara, Summer, Katie, Gunner and Sunshine. Also sadly missed by a special pet Nikita. Also survived by brothers Richard and Wallace Mielke. Predeceased by brothers Oscar, Lornie, Elmer and sisters Beatrice and Hazel. At the request of Mr. Mielke there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation will take place, with the Barclay Funeral Home,137 Pearl St. East Brockville entrusted with the arrangements. In memoriams to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
