Peacefully entered into rest at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday February 9th, 2014, Orval Ladd of Lyn aged 83 years. Beloved husband of the former Pat Clow. Loving father of Michael (Marta), Ann Bak (James), Joan Milliken (Rob) and Peter (Katie) and father-in-law of Janet Ladd (Lee Walz). Cherished grandfather to nine. Predeceased by parents Arthur and Hazel (Hunter) Ladd, brothers Arnold, Harry and Lawrence and sisters Esther and Mildred. Also survived by sisters in law Roseleyne Ladd, Joan Clow and Bette Calvert and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be Celebrated at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Lyn on Thursday February 13th, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment Lyn Cemetery in the spring. In memory of Orval, donations to the St. John the Baptist Church, Lyn or the Lyn Heritage Place Museum would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
