Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Thursday September 22, 2005. The former Kathleen Dixie of Brockville. Beloved wife of the late George Egan. Dear mother of Carol Thurlby and her husband Malcolm of Brantford. Kathleen is survived by her brother Borden Dixie and dear friends John and Jennifer Creighton all of Brockville. Also survived by a sister in law Dorothy Dixie of Brockville and a brother in law Gerald Miller of Athens as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters Lillian Scott and her husband Leonard, Hilda Miller and four brothers Harold Dixie and his wife Fern, Arthur Dixie and his wife Anna, Kenneth Dixie and his wife Bessie and Lawrence Dixie. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday September 24, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Glen Elbe Cemetery.
