Douglas Richard Batty died peacefully at Sherwood Park Manor, Brockville on Saturday, January 14th. 2006. Much beloved husband of Olive for 62 years. Predeceased by his dear son Ron, loving husband of Veronica. Devoted father of Valerie and her husband John McEwan and special Grandpa to Kevin, Alison, Graham and Deborah. Great-Grandpa to six dear children. At Doug's request, there will be no visitation. Interment will take place at Field of Honour Cemetery, Beaconsfield, Quebec at a later date.
