Peacefully with family by her side at the Brockville General Hospital Charles Street Site on Monday June 15, 2009. Margaret Wright (Forsyth) Jones of Brockville in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Roy Charles Beckstead and Meville Jones. Dear mother of John Beckstead and his wife Mary of Brockville, Patricia Smith of Lyndhurst and Muriel Dillabough of Lethbridge, AB. Loving grandmother of Marli Spicer (Ken) of Brockville, Craig Robinson (Jennifer) of Orleans, Wendi MacPherson (Brent), Sam Beckstead (Gloria) all of Smiths Falls, Valerie Flood (Raymond) of Greenbush, Linda Laming (Edward), Jim Smith all of Lyndhurst, Cheryl Wykes (Gerald) of Athens, Helen, Clarence, Roger, Barbara, Eric, Patrick and Keith. Also survived by 16 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren, two brothers Alex Forsyth (Vera) of North Gower and Robert Forsyth (Cecile) of Napanee as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sons William Jones and Donald Beckstead, a grandson Raymond, her parents John and Bessie (Hogg) Forsyth, a brother Frank Forsyth and sisters Frances (Tiny) Southin and Mabel Lemond. A Memorial Service will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday June19, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
