After a courageous battle with cancer, died at the Windsor Regional Hospital, London on thursday May 4th. 2006. The former Verna Irene Cowles of Windsor (Formerly of Brockville) age 55 years. Beloved wife of William (Bill) Elmer DuBuque. Dear mother of Mae DuBuque and her fiance Earl Wheeler of Gananoque. Sister of Gerald Kirton (June) of Belleville, Helen Day (Gordon) of Brockville, Graig Cowles of Prescott, Brenda Cowles of Brockville and Karen Cowles of Maitland. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Vernon and Irene Little Cowles. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Sunday May 7th, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday May 8th 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memeorial Gardens, Maitland. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefuuly acknowledged by the family.
