Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday April 11, 2006. the former Madge Joy Emma Burbridge of Brockville age 87 years. Beloved wife of William (Bill) Halka. Dear mother of William Halka Jr. and his wife Denise of Orleans, Marilyn Delroy of Constance Bay, Susan O'Leary and her husband Bill of Belleville and Richard Halka and his wife Emese of Washington,DC. Madge is survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Culverhouse Burbridge and Theresa (Roy) Burbridge, a brother Roy Burbridge and sisters Thelma Robertson and Margaret Arseneau. A private family Funeral Liturgy will be held at the Barclay Funeral 137 Pearl St East, Brockville. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
