Passed on at the Brockville General Hospital in his 87th. year. Born in Goulbourn Twsp. to the late George and Alice (Roffey) Sample. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Hazel (Hammond), children Gordon (Kay) and Ruth McKenzie, grandsons Geoff (Kristy) Sample and Malcolm and Douglas McKenzie. Also survived by a sister Rose Machin of Pembroke and sisters-in-law Gladys Sample and Pat Kuz as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a son-in-law John McKenzie and 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Family and Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and also on Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday March 11th. at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be held in Boyd United Cemetery in the Spring.
