Peacefully with his daughter and son inlaw by his side, at the Brockville General Hospital on Monday June 26, 2006. David Byron MacDonald of RR# 1 Lyn (formerly of Athens) aged 85 years. Beloved husband of the late Winnifred (Winnie) White. Dear father of Heather Dixon and her husband Gord of RR# 1 Lyn. Byron is survived by 9 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, 3 sisters Gwen Gunness of Brockville, Sybil Barrett of Midhurst and Shirley Coleman of Athens as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 3 daughters Sharon, Holly, Linda and his parents David MacDonald and his wife Jennie Mae Baile MacDonald. At the request of Byron a private family graveside service will be held at Oakland Cemetery. In memoriams to the Salvation Army or the Brockville and District Humane Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
