Peacefully at Brockville General Hospital Garden Street Site, on Tuesday January 27, 2015, John Samuel Duncan of Brockville age 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Millie (Moore) Duncan. Dear father of Arthur Duncan (Beverley) of Brockville and the late Phyllis Turner. Loving grandfather of Victoria Tetley of Iroquois and Paula Turner (Jeff Brownlee) of Osgoode and great grandfather of Joshua and Eric Tetley and Sydney Brownlee. John is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Thomas Richard and Anna Mary (Anderson) Duncan, his sister Unice Jenkinson and brothers Bryson and Edward Duncan. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Saturday January 31, 2015 from 11 am- 1 pm. The Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment will take place in the spring in New Dublin Cemetery. In memory of John, donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
