Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday October 17th, 2006. Allan Christopher McKay of Brockville, aged 74 years. Beloved husband of the late Hazel Jean (King) McKay. Dear father of Nancy Thomson and her husband George of Smiths Falls, Allan McKay and his wife Lisa of Montreal, Jim McKay of Brockville, Greg McKay of Athens and Darcy McKay of Kingston. Grandfather of Rick Tyssen, Jodie Tyssen (Sylvain Cayen), Brandon and Leah McKay. Great-grandfather to Paige and Janessa. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Annabelle McKay, brothers James and Bill McKay and sisters Dorothy Nolet, Florence Bain and Phyllis McKay. Friends may call at the Barclay Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday October 21st, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. In memoriams to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Officiers and Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Brancg No. 96 will gather for a Memorial Service Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.
