Peacefully with her family by her side at the Kingston General Hospital, on Thursday October 12th., 2006. The former Wilda Mae Christie of Brockville aged 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Russell Dunleavy and Floyd Britton. Loving mother of Karen Wilson-Wiseman (Dave) of Brockville, Donna Blancher (Frank) of R.R. # 1 Athens, Brian Dunleavy (Sandy) of Brockville, Lynn Leeder and Chyrstal Brown (Allan) of Cardinal. Wilda is survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, a brother Wayne Christie (Gail) of Port Elgin as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William James Christie and his wife Gertrude (Byrd) Christie and brothers Lyle, Grant and Forrest Christie and a sister Crace Copeland. Family and Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Sunday October 15th. 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in St. John's United Church, Brockville on October 16th. 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery at a later date.
