Helen was her family's greatest joy! She was in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband William Stuart Stockwell, her daughter Jane and her brothers Ross and Doug. Survived by her brother Keith of Verona, Wisconsin and children James (Lenora) of Victoria BC, Ann (Gordie) of Merrickville, Ontario. Also survived by her grandchildren Sarah Jane (Barry), Matthew (Sheena), Ian and great granddaughter Kayla Ann. As well as her Cannie family "Kali and Maddy". Helen received her BA in Home Economics at McDonald College of McGill University. She taught several years in the Eastern Townships, Quebec. Her passion for life, books, education, travelling and gardening helped complete her precious life. She will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews friends and all the people who's heart she touched. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Saturday September 16, 2006 from 1 - 2 :30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in Knowlton Cemetery at a later date.
