Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site, on Friday November 3rd, 2006. William " Bill" James Halfpenny of Brockville, (formerly of 10 charlotte Place) aged 69 years. Beloved son of the late Clifford Halfpenny and his wife Vera (Quinn) Halfpenny. Dear father of Penny Visser (Art) of Cardinal, Kim Kirkby (Jim) of North Augusta, Clifford Halfpenny (Cherie) of Prescott, and Greg Halfpenny (Jennifer) of Windsor. Grandfather of Mervyn, Brittney Winters, Arthur Visser Jr., Michael Kirkby, Thomas, Frankie and Samantha Halfpenny and Gage Halfpenny as well as several great-grandchildren. Brother of June Miekle, Betty Winford (Bob Burns), Shirley Buffett (Donald), Marilyn Taylor (Tom), Carol Rooney, Gail Jodoin (Douglas), Sandra Anderson (Robert), Wayne (Frances) and Kevin (Annemarie). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 brothers Gerald and Donald and 2 brothers-in-law Norman Miekle and Michael Rooney.
