Peacefully entered into rest on Saturday April 14, 2007, at the Brockville General Hospital, in her 65 year. Beatrice Margaret Ascough (nee Arnison), of Maitalnd and formerly of Kingston, is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 45 years, Michael Ascough, and her three sons, Richard Ascough (Mary-Lynne) of Kingston, Graham Ascough (Patty) of Adelaide, Australia, and Peter Ascough (Irene) of Kleefeld, Manitoba. She will be greatly missed by the grandchildren she adored: Hannah, Josiah, Jonathan, Andrew, Christopher and Reuben. Bea is survived by her brother Ken Arnison, England, and predeceased by her sister, Betty. She is also survived by her close friends David and Lynda Harbourne, Kingston. The family would like to express their thanks to the nursing staff at the Brockville General Hospital for the care and consideration they provided. The family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Bea's life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at 2 p.m. A family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
