Peacefully after a brief illness, with her family by her side at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site, on Thursday April 26, 2007. The former Joan Delores Knapp of Brockville, age 75 years. Dear mother of Debra Vallentgoed-Dunklin (Garry) of North Augusta, Susan Whaley-MacIntyre (Ray Miller) of RR# 2 Prescott and Nancy MacInyre of Perth. Survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandsons. Sister of Sharon Brigden (Ed) of Carleton Place, also survived by several nieces and nephewsand her first husband Leland MacIntyre of Brockville. Predeceased by her parents Arthur Knapp and his wife Elsie Countryman Knapp, her second husband Clifford Kelly, a son-in-law Stuart Vallentgoed, a brother Junior Knapp and a sister Hilda Connors. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday April 30, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
