After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Harry Pentney passed away on March 25, 2007. Predeceased by his loving wife Anne (Armstrong) and his son Thomas Eric Pentney. Survived by Libby (Wayne Goodman) of Orillia, Robert (Eleanor) of Calgary, Bill (Maureen) of Ottawa, Andrew (Beate Schnittker) of Waterloo and Janet (Dany Croteau) of Montreal, daughter-in-law Glenda Petrenko and her husband Rick of Lively, as well as 16 grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. Dad was very proud of each of them. Harry is also survived be brothers Jim of Thunder Bay and Richard of Sudbury. The family would like to pay tribute to the outstanding care provided to Dad by Dr. Segal of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Clinic, Dr. Farncombe, Max and the entire Palliative Care Outreach team, the Bayshore Home Health Care team, Marites and Michelle from Home Instead Senior Care and a special thanks to the staff of the RiverPark Place. In memoriams to the Palliative Care Outreach Program, Ottawa or the Canadian Cancer Society, would be gratefully acknowledged by the family Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East,Brockville, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment Oakland Cemetery, at a later date.
