Peacefully with his family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital, garden Street Site on Sunday June 17, 2007. George Roscoe Blanchard of Brockville (formerly of Athens) age 92 years. Beloved husband of the former Shirley A. Whiteland. Dear father of David Blanchard and his wife Pat of Athens, Robert (Bob) Blanchard and his wife Sue of Stuart, Florida. Grandfather of Shawn Blanchard of Prescott, Darren Blanchard and his wife Jordan of RR# 1 Athens, Kevin Blanchard, Steven Blanchard and his wife Tammy all of Athens. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Roscoe Blanchard and his wife Lillian Davis Blanchard and three brothers Bill and John Blanchard of Brockville and Howard Blanchard Oshawa. A private family graveside service, will be held at Oakland Cemetery. In memoriams to Retinitis Pigmentosis would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
