Manuel Machado do Rego

May 14, 1937 ~ July 26, 2024

Manuel (Manni) passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on July 26, 2024. Born in the Azores, he was the youngest son of Herminia do Rego and Manuel do Rego. Manuel is survived by his former wife and best friend Aldina Rego of Rhode Island and his stepsons Paul (Theresa), Louis (Diane) and John. Manuel is also survived by his niece Lillian (Duarte) and nephew Roberto (Susete) Tavares and the late Joseph Torres. He was also, the brother of the late Herminia Tavares, Laura Torres, and Maria do Carmo do Rego

Manuel immigrated to Canada from Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal in 1966. He was an electrician and worked for Philips Cables. Manuel loved to travel.
