Obituary of Bob Jones

Surrounded by the love of family, John Robert (Bob) Jones, at the age of 80 years, entered into rest at St. Lawrence Lodge on Saturday June 29^th, 2024.   Beloved husband of Joy (Bowman). Loving father of Holly and Brian (Johanna). Proud grandfather of Matthew (Meg), Andrew, Sarah and Charlotte. Dear brother of Carol, Christine Hopewell and Larry (Connie); son-in-law of Marion Bowman;  brother-in-law of Barry Bowman (Karen) and Robert Jackson.  Bob will be missed by family friend Dave Hopewell, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  Bob was predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Mary (Deir) Jones, father-in-law Burton (Bud) Bowman, sister Elizabeth Jackson and niece Caitlin Jones.

Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville, on Friday July 5^th, 2024 from 5 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Chapel on Saturday July 6^th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.  A family interment will follow.  In memory of Bob, the consideration of a donation to the St. James Church Foundation, Maitland would be gratefully acknowledged.
