Our sympathies to your family on the passing of your mom. As another family that lived on The Hill, we knew everyone and the Greens were a big part of that community. Barb’s niece Karen McCoy came one or two summers to babysit Cathy and we chummed around and were forever present at your home. Your mom worked hard and recently when we saw each other, the joy on her face when talking about her family… so proud. Barb was so upbeat about anything that life brought her way, what a positive attitude! A great obituary on your mom… Love shines through. I will always have fond memories of Barb. Aunt Barb will be sadly missed. A talented, easy to talk to and fun woman that was a joy to have around. She always showed great interest in a person's life and spoke so fondly of her daughters and grandsons. We love you! Cheryl, John, Alisha and Daron

I feel so lucky to have known Barb since I was 7 years old. Even though my husband Glen and I had moved from Brockville, Barb and I always kept in touch. In the olden days, we probably wrote letters as phone calls were very expensive. Later when we phoned, Barb and I always had lots to talk about and shared so many laughs about all the silly things we did as kids and continued to do. I admired Barb so much as she never was one to complain, always upbeat and took everything in her stride. She was one brave cookie. I will forever be grateful to Cathy who arranged that she, Barb and I meet for dinner in Vancouver last year before they went on to the cruise to Alaska. Barb was a very special friend who I will always miss. My sincere condolences go out to her family. Gail Moore (Murray)

I was so sorry to hear about Barb's passing. My late husband Mike and I enjoyed many evenings at their home playing cards and sharing lots of laughs together. We always looked forward to Barb's treats with our coffee later in the evening before we went home. Many wonderful memories! My thoughts are with Cathy and Karen and the family at this time.

Remembering a very special lady. Over the past 3 years Barb and I had the opportunity to spend more time together. Whether seeing each other in person or talking on the phone we always shared so many laughs and memories. One tough lady, never compained regardless of what came her way. In short, Barb was a beauty.
