Obituary of John C Simpson
Went to be with his Lord, Jesus on Monday April 8, 2024. John Calvin Simpson of Brockville age 77 years. Beloved husband of Lynda (Moorhouse) Simpson. Loving father of Kelly Simpson (Paul McElligott) and Kyal Simpson (Amy). Cherished grandfather of Ben Kiefer (Grace Ku), Steven Kiefer (Kady), Linnea Kiefer, Ethan Kiefer, Gabe Allen, Sam Allen, Caitie, Jameson, Meghan and Brianna Simpson. John is survived by his sister Elaine Griggs (Ron), his brother Eric Simpson (Mary Lee Elliott), his brothers-in-law Bruce Moorhouse (Jenny Cybulski), Dale Moorhouse and Randy Moorhouse (Pam) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Arden and Evelyn (Stevenson) Simpson.

Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Wednesday April 17, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. ~ 11:45 a.m. The Celebration of John’s Life will be held in the Chapel at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Read's Cemetery. In memory of John, donations to Centennial Road Church or the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated by the family.
