Obituary of Jean Carley

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Brockville General Hospital on Wednesday April 4^th, 2024. Jean (Plant) Carley of Mallorytown at the age of 85.  Beloved spouse of Doug Dunster and the late Neil Carley. Loving mother of Dwight (Debbie Lee) and Kevin (Debbie Ann) Carley all of Mallorytown. Cherished grandmother of Julie Wylie (Mark), Elizabeth Meehan (Mike), Jessica Carley and Justin Carley (Shana); and great grandmother of Grace, Carley, Colton, Jace, Olivia, Dominick and Peyton. Dear daughter of the late Herman and Rita (Chester) Plant; and sister in-law of Ian Carley (Lorna), John Carley (Joanne), Sheila VanAllen (Don). Jean will also be missed by chosen sister Paula Moffatt (Larry) and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends will be received for visitation at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held in the Chapel of the Barclay Funeral Home on Friday April 12^th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In memory of Jean, donations to the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
