Obituary of John William Conklin
Conklin, John William entered into rest in his 79th year on Sunday, December 31st, 2023. Son of the late James and Hilda Conklin. Brother of Gordon (Dorothy) and the late Roy Conklin.
Loving father of Shawna (Chris), Shellee (Steve), John William (Crystal), Christina (Shane), Chelsea, and Cody.
Loving grandfather of Brandon, Christopher (Sierra), Jason, Joey, Jordan and Patrick. Great-grandfather of Maeve and Freya.
Survived by nephews Ian, James, and Dwayne and nieces Donna (Paul), Brenda (Ralph), and Cindy (Richard).
John was a lifelong resident of Roebuck, Ontario which he fondly referred to as “God’s Country” where he enjoyed his passion of dairy farming and working the land. Retired employee of DuPont Canada.
At John’s request, there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at Victoria United Church, Maynard on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024 at 11am. Interemnt will follow at Maynard Cemetery, County Road #26, Maynard, Ontario.
