Obituary of Gunther Hermann Paatzsch
Peacefully entered into rest, with family by his side, at the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care on Saturday December 30th, 2023. Gunther Paatzsch of Brockville aged 91 years. Beloved husband of 66 years of the late Eva (Adolf) Paatzsch. Loving father of Christine Radford (Doug), Arlette Martin, and the late Monika (in infancy). Cherished Opa of Craig and Mark Martin (Kathryn), Greg (Aisha), Fraser and Katie Radford (Jamie Aplin); and Great Opa of James and Ben Martin, and Jack Aplin. Dear brother of Lieselotte Kolde (late Peter). Brother-in-law of Rosi Kloepfer (late Wally), Baerbel Mayer (late Heinrich) and the late Andreas Adolf (Maria), Resi Erb (Hans), Katharina Grosser, Jakob, Johann, Georg, and Jakob Adolf. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
By request, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held. In memory of Gunther donations to the Brockville District Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care or the United Way of Leeds and Grenville would be greatly appreciated by the family.
