Lyle Neville William Henderson passed at home on October 28, 2023. Born in Ventnor On., Lyle made Brockville his home. There, he took on ownership of Eskay Henderson Printing and then Henderson Printing. He gave much to his community in time, effort, leadership and financial support through the Brockville Kinsmen Club, Masonic Lodge, Shrine Club, Brockville Chamber of Commerce, The Spencerville Mill, and many other community groups big and small.

Lyle enjoyed long drives with no destination, debates with passion, and spread joy as a Shriners mini car driver. He respected a good single malt and the lucidity of conversation that would follow.

He could not turn down a good read and shared his love of the written word with children and grandchildren.

Gifted with a stubborn determination to turn words into action.

He is survived by his wife, Carol. Sons: John Henderson, David Henderson (Christa Ng.), Scott Pyke, and Steven Pyke (Sharon). Grandchildren: Brad Henderson (Debrah Burke), Laura Henderson (Nate Peters), Audrey Henderson, Roy Hendeson (Taylor Rohr), and Taylor Pyke. Also, sister Janice Sloan (Bill), Sister-In-Law Bonnie Henderson, former spouse Lois Henderson (Rob Adams) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings Margaret Blanchard (Harold), Ken Henderson (Nora), Carl Henderson (Bonnie), and parents Roy and Muriel.

Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St., E., Brockville on Thursday from 2 -4 and 6 - 8 p.m. The Funeral Service, in Celebration of Lyle's Life will be held in the Chapel on Friday November 3, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will take place at a later date. In memory of Lyle, donations to The Spencerville Mill at www.spencervillemill.ca would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

Lyle lived fully. He will be missed. Rest now.
