Obituary of Cheryl Anne Provost-Larocque
Tragically passed away along the Thousand Islands Parkway on Monday October 23rd, 2023. Cheryl “Gypsy” (Ferguson) Provost-Larocque of Brockville aged 68 years. Beloved wife of Dennis Larocque. Loving mother of Roger Provost (Katie DeDekker) of Cardinal. Cherished grandmother of Natalia and Keegan Provost. Stepmother of Steven and Brian Larocque. Dear daughter of the late Albert and Joan (McLean) Ferguson; sister of Doug Ferguson (Connie), Kim Mattice (Ralph), Don Ferguson (Laurie), Rhonda Pattemore (Jeff) and the late Diane Donaldson, Nancy Birtch and Eddy Ferguson; sister-in-law of Bob Larocque (Jane), Peter Young and Sue Larocque;and niece of Ernie Ferguson and Eleanor Ferguson. Also missed by the “Brockville Ladies Friendship Group” and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends will be received for a Memorial Celebration of Gypsy’s Life at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville, on Sunday October 29th, 2023 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. In memory of Gypsy donations to CHEO or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
