I want to send my sincere condolences to the family at this difficult time. Miss Sullivan taught my husband Brad Towns. He said that she encouraged him to believe in himself as well as geography. He often spoke of her and would always make a point of talking to her when he saw her in the community.

In cherished memory of my great aunt Pat, who lived a life as vast and beautiful as the great outdoors she adored.
Her 83 years were a tapestry of adventures and wanderlust, leaving us with a legacy of exploration and such an appreciation for the world's many wonders. Farewell to our fearless traveler; her spirit continues to journey on. Your wisdom, humor and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by all that knew you.
I hope you and Nana are traveling the world together once again.
With love,
-Rhylee

I have this awesome memory of back when I was about 10 maybe. A week before a family reunion , my uncle Leonard came up from Florida and picked my brother and I up to go to a family cottage on grand lake . Both Pat and Peg were there when we got there .Five days at the lake with them. It was one of the only times I can remember spending that much time with them. And the many times that Pat sat with me and taught me how to play 45's . Even after years ... "shhh , your new " she'd tell me. Just so I could get away with a bad play. LoL .

My Aunt Pat loved her family and her family loved her very much. She visited NB often, she loved the outdoors and especially loved playing the card game “45’s”, I’m sure she made up some of the rules too! My mom was her only sister and they travelled the world together, Egypt, Portugal, the Rocky Mountains just to name a few places. I hope they are together now! The last trip Pat and I took together was Las Vegas she could always tell you interesting things about the area you were visiting! I love you Aunt Pat, be at peace now ❤️ Shana

Sending our condolences. She was a lovely lady that both my husband and I had as a teacher at ADHS. She even came to visit me in Ottawa hospital when she found out I was there and she was there for an appointment. We always enjoyed talking to her and always felt like we learned from her. Sincerely, Heather and Kirk Irvine

Sending our condolences. Pat was one of my favourite teachers at ADHS. She also taught P.E. one year and health education. She came to one of our class reunions and met students that she had not seen in over 20 years. I have only good memories of this wonderful lady who always had a smile. She gave so much to the Athens community in her very quiet way.
