We were happy to welcome Beverly into our extended family after our mom passed away in 1996. Dad used to drive Beverly to church in Lansdowne, and over time they grew to enjoy visiting yard and auction sales, dances at the Legion, church suppers and just sitting together listening to music and reading the papers. We were happy that they both had companionship in their latter years. Dad missed Beverly terribly during his time in hospital and then at St. Lawrence Lodge. Beverly was always kind to Karen and me, and we enjoyed dropping by over the years to say hello and catch up on news. We will miss her cheerful smile.
