Obituary of William Vanderscheer
December 20th, 1943 - July 29th, 2023
Peacefully entered into rest at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Saturday July 29th, 2023. Bill Vanderscheer of Gananoque, age 79 years. Beloved husband of Phyllis (Godridge) Vanderscheer. Loving father of Bill (Angela) of Lansdowne, Tony (the late Laura) of Mallorytown, Sandra of Gananoque, Jerry (Crystal) of Brockville and the late Donna Marie. Cherished Opa of Ashley, Rachael, Hunter, Emma, Kira, Ava and Gabe. Dear son of the late Dirk and Geritjie (Temmink) Vanderscheer and brother of Henry (Ann), the late Jacob (Marlene), the late Lammy Vogel (Bert), Dirk (Brenda) and the late Ralph. Also missed by sister-in-law Donna Mallette (Ronnie) and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received for visitation at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville, on Tuesday August 1st, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday August 2nd, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. There will be an Oddfellow/Rebekah service prior to the funeral.
