I was saddened with the passing of a wonderful man and friend. When Vera was hair dressing and if Peter was home from being on the road he would put on his record player and play Dvorchak from the Czechoslovakia symphony Orchestra and come in and visit while Vera performed her magic. When Vera was at St Mary's on the lake, I would relieve Peter and sit in the evening with Vera. Vera was a good friend and confidant. After Vera passed Peter was so overcome with grief and some of us tried to reach out to him but it was too difficult for him. I truly believe he has had a broken heart since the passing of the love of his life. May he now be at peace.
