My husband Lloyd and I knew both Laura and Albert when we all worked at Electrolux. Laura trained me on my job and she was so patient and kind. Over the years we always stopped for a chat whenever we saw them. She was a very special person to all of you obviously but also to everyone she had contact with. When you are remembered with a smile then you have a had a great life. I know how hard she worked and she deserves this rest. May all the memories you've made with her give you comfort in these hard days ahead. Sincere condolences from Lloyd and Diane Ashe

Dear Family, I am so sorry for your loss. For 20+ years your mom and I worked together. She was kind, gentle, generous and so many other attributes, too many to list. She was more than an employee or even a friend. She was that special person who found a place in my heart reserved just for her. Your dad would drop by the store and tease all of us, and your mother would just smile and shake her head. I loved her. I loved the way she always gave her best. I loved the way she treated everyone as 'special'. I loved the way she would make me my "perfect coffee' every morning. I loved everything about her. My heart is heavy with your loss.

To the family of Laura: don't know the family but we want you to know that Laura was our newspaper lady for many years and she was the most reliable delivery person (along with Mr. Cain too) that we have ever had in the 40 plus years we have lived here.
Early morning we could depend on her having our newspaper in the mailbox - rain or shine - sleet or snow no matter the elements. We would also see her/them at McDonalds on a regular basis as they lived so close. Many people go to know their faces and have a chat and often offer a coffee or treat and pass the time of day. They were family to the McDonald's staff. I don't know which daughter I met in the Windsor Drive apt when Laura had fallen and one daughter was there the day I dropped off a muffin and coffee to her as I knew she wasn't getting out. Your mother was a gem as you know. Rest in Peace Laura, you have worked hard and deserve the rest..
