So sorry to hear Linda. Our family always had fond memories of Scotty growing up and they will also be saddened to hear the news of Scotty' s passing. More recently, we would get updates from our grandmother (Barb) prior to her recent passing. Growing up, I remember Scotty as an ambassador on our volleyball team and he never missed a practice or game; he was so dedicated. When I saw him at the mall or grocery store, his eyes lit up instantly and he would come give me a hug. I will always remember Scotty with his kind soul...he will be missed.

My deepest condolences to Scott’s family and his Bacla family. I have many fond memories of Scott as far back as TISS high school days. I was an assistant back then and he was very popular with staff and students alike. I was also lucky to know him in his adult life as I work for Bacla as well! An angel gone too soon. Hugs to all who know him.

Linda I was heartbroken when I read Scotty’s obituary. I would see Scotty often at the Millwood Manor. He always told everyone I was his babysitter and always asked where my daughter was. I can see him now on Millwood making excuses not to go home at bedtime. His smile will surly light up Heaven.
He had a challenge in life but he never let it hold him back. He had so many friends of all ages. During his short time on earth he certainly touched many lives.
RIP Scotty, you my dear have earned your wings. Always fondly remembered and loved forever.,
Carline and family

My sincere condolences to Scotty’s family.
I first knew Scotty on Millwood Ave. when I lived in the same complex as him 43 years ago. All of us kids used to play marbles and hide and seek. We went to Highschool together. I also worked in the mall with him at a nearby store. He always said hi with a great big smile on his face. I can’t recall a time he wasn’t smiling. You will be missed so much Scotty.

Dear Linda and family. Scotty was one of those guys who everyone knew and liked. If you were from Brockville you knew Scotty, and that's a good thing. He always greeted me with "I saw your daughter today". Always. So sorry to read of his passing but he's free now to fly high to his new home. RIP Scotty

I worked with Scotty at Forzani's Locker Room and also at Foot Locker in the 1000 Mall. Scotty was a great individual, always there laughing and smiling. He definitely made working there a lot fun, whether it was coming into Foot Locker to watch wrestling or hockey, or telling me that "Shellys the best!, and Footlocker Sucks." He always brought a smile to my face, and it was great seeing him daily. I'm saddened by his passing. The Brockville community has lost a wonderful human being, and those who know him have lost a friend. Rest well Scotty.

I met Scott back in high school. I went to BCI and he would always tease me about that and that TISS was the best, right up to the last time I saw him. We always departed with a big hug. His smile was infectious. My fondest memory of Scotty was when he invited a buddy and I over to his place to watch the Cowboys play. He really loved it, as we did! Then at half time, right out of the blue he said, " ok boys got to go, I have to go to bed" We had a big chuckle said our goodbyes and off we went. Something we still talk about to this day! The last time I saw him he was waiting at the bus stop downtown so I gave him a ride and before he left got a selfie with him. Something I'll cherish!
Fly high Scotty and rest easy, you had such a positive impact on so my people's lives, and we are all better for it

I met Scotty through my friend Clark Olson back in the 90's. For years we would all meet at the Olson's for Labour Day weekends. I hadn't seen him in years but thinking of him always brought a smile to my face. Scotty was pure of heart, always had a smile and was part of the University gang on Labour Day. I'm a better person for having met Scotty. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
