Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Monday April 11, 2022. Barbara Elaine Empey of Brockville aged 88 years. Loving mother of Paul Empey (Jill), Janet Empey and Ruth Anne Maisonneuve (Leo). Cherished Gran of Shawn Empey (Beverly), Kristan Cranley (Stephen), Christopher Empey (Kerri), David Empey (Christine), Angela Antoniak (Jerry), Philip Antoniak (Megan), Cory Maisonneuve, Quinton Maisonneuve, and 14 great grandchildren. Barbara is survived by her sister Nancy Allan and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Beaumont and Mary (Harkness) Andress. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Saturday April 16, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be held in the chapel at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Harkness Cemetery.
