Roy Charles Michael Phillips of Brockville, age 70, peacefully entered into rest with his family by his side on Friday February 25, 2022. Beloved husband of Pauline (nee Lennox). Loving father of Cheryl Sanger (Jason) and Monica Krull (Matt). Cherished and proud Papa of Bret, Jacob, Daria, Hunter, Jocelyn, Maria, and Mya. Predeceased by his son Richard, parents Cyril and Bessie Phillips (nee Dougherty) and sisters Mary, Carol, and Dixie. Survived by brother Fred Phillips (Linda) and sister Pam McKenney (Neil). Roy worked at DuPont Canada, Maitland for 39 years. He was an avid reader and enjoyed playing darts. Roy was a member of the Brockville, Smiths Falls and Waddington Fish and Game Clubs, Marble City Muzzleloaders and the Royal Canadian Legion, Brockville Branch. A Celebration of Life for Roy will be held in the Chapel of the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville on Saturday March 5th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. A private family burial at St. Bede’s Cemetery will take place at a later date.
