Mark Steele died peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 19th, 2021, surrounded by his wife and children. Mark was a loving and supportive husband and father, a local businessman, talented musician and fun and interesting friend to many. Mark loved spending time with his family, playing with his grandson, boating on Canal Lake during visits to the family cottage, playing guitar around a summer bonfire and jamming with fellow musicians. Mark will be forever remembered for his sense of humour, interesting conversations with friends and strangers alike and his open and engaging manner. Mark is survived by his wife Nicole (Dumond), children Nastassia (Jon), Brianna (Kalan), Jonathan and Ashley, his grandson Torin, father Don, brother Bill, special brother-in-law, best friend and band mate Jimmy "JD Styles" (Darlene), Ed (Tracey) and Robin (Kevin), beloved nieces and nephew and his cottage family. Mark is predeceased by his mother Joan and sister Pam. Mark's wish for all - Choose to be joyful and rock on! As per Mark, there will be no formal service. An informal gathering of family and friends will take place at a later date, to celebrate Mark's life. In memory of Mark, donations to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research would be greatly appreciated by the family.
