Obituary of Jean Marie Canning
Jean Canning (née Rea) died peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on November 26, 2021. Jean was born and raised in Escott, Ontario. In her early teens, Jean moved to Brockville to begin working at Bell Canada as a Switchboard Operator until her retirement in 1995.
Jean is predeceased by her husband, Calvin, parents Helen and Edmund, sisters Liz, Evelyn, brother Lyndon and dear friend Sally (Ferneyhough). Jean is survived by daughters Angel and Debbie, son Paul, son in-law Glen, niece Susan and much adored granddaughter, Taylor.
Mom had a wonderful sense of humour, a beaming smile, a love of music, dancing and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
Dad waited more than 40 years to be reunited with you - Rest easy, Mom.
