I met Dennis when the Magedomas Hockey Team accepted me into their fold playing hockey on Monday and Thursday mornings in Brockville. Dennis was so kind and accommodating to a not so spry and not so talented female hockey player. I will always remember his warm smile and how he so much enjoyed the camraderie of his teammates and his all consuming love of the game of hockey. Thinking of the family members at this time.

We are so very sorry for the loss of your most amazing Father, Father in Law and Grandfather.
Denny was such a sweet man who loved and cherished his family so very much. We loved hearing the stories over the years about Trent & Troy (hockey stories) and very much enjoyed our time together over the years at which ever rink we happen to be at that day. We equally enjoyed the time spent with Lynn who was also just so very proud of her family.
There really are no words that can begin to capture the magnitude of your loss. We're so sorry that you and your family are going through this.
Our Deepest Sympathies,
Ryan, Lisa & Logan Harkness

Our condolences to Trent, Troy and your families on the passing of a gentle man. I had the pleasure of getting to know Dennis through our participation on a local slo-pitch team. He was a gifted athlete and an even better person who cared for others and conducted himself in a gentlemanly fashion. Though a fierce competitor, he still handled himself with grace and poise. I have always had an admiration for the way he lived life to the fullest. May he rest in the arms of our Lord.

Trent, Troy and families:
We are so saddened to read of your dad’s passing. Dennis was a terrific man who loved his family fiercely. He enjoyed telling stories of whatever you boys were doing as well as the grandchildren, whenever we met. Hopefully all the wonderful memories you made together, will help you through this difficult time. Rest In Peace Dennis. Fly high with the Angels.
Sincere sympathy,

To Trent, Troy and all the Gleason family. Being a neighbour on Peden Blvd for a number of years, I had on many numerous
occasions, when I would stop and have wonderful conversation with Dennis while walking my dog. It was always about family
and hockey. I cannot tell how many times he praised his two sons, Trent and Troy and his absolute love for the grandsons and
their hockey achievements. Never bragging but only sharing with me the joy he had watching them develop the skill and talent Dennis says they inherited from own his two boys. Walking Bentley past my house always with a smile and a wave. Knowing that he is with Lyn now, Trent & Troy you will always have those wonderful memories and pictures that will warm your hearts
forever. Dennis will always be remembered for his kindness, honesty, smile and the absolute love he had for all his family.
A life so well lived and respected. You will be truly be missed by the many lives you touched.

Dear Trent, Troy and families........our sincere condolences in the loss of your father. Denny and Lynn were our first and everalasting friends since the time we moved to Laurier Blvd. Your Dad and Mum were a blessing to us - and although we knew that Denny would soon be passing, it didn't soften the blow. Denny was a 'gift' that kept on giving. We are thankful the life he shared with us.........Luv, Dorothy (Chuck) and John Belland

Sorry for your loss. A lot of great memories at your hockey games, tournaments with your Dad and Mom. I never saw him get angry even after I gave him a black with the end of my stick when he came in the crease. Accident of course, we were on the same team. We had many laughs about that over the years. I will never forget our time as coaches. We had many hours of fun on the road and at tournament parties. And a few nips along the way. We was a great hockey player and friend.
