Peacefully at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital, Kingston on Friday March 21st, 2008. John Bernard (Bernie) Turner of Lansdowne age 74 years. Beloved husband of the late Gwendolyn "Gwen" Audrey Prue. Dear Dad of Bruce Turner of Kingston, Bryce Turner of Lansdowne and Brenda Woods and her husband Brian of Gananoque. Loving grandfather to Joshua, Jayme, Brianna Turner. Cherished poppa to Julie and Ryan Woods. Brother of Margaret Hammond of Gananoque. Also survived by sisters in law Velma and Berneta Turner as well as several nieces and nephews and a special friend Vida Herbison of Mallorytown. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred James Turner and his wife Katherine Elizabeth Marshall as well as brothers Joe and Jay Turner and a brother in law Herbie Hammond. A Memorial Service will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home, Lansdowne on Saturday March 29th, 2008 at 11 a.m. A Private family interment will take place at Union Cemetery at a later date.
