Entered into rest with family by her side at the Brockville General Hospital on Saturday August 21, 2021. Penny Lee Looby of Mallorytown age 57 years. Beloved wife of Bill Running. Loving mother of Kristin Parker (Anthony) and cherished Dorey to grandson Riley. Penny will be missed by her sisters Carolyn Bennett (Wayne), Debbie Ladd (late John), and Kathy Ash and her brother Rick Ash (Patty). Penny is also survived by her loving canine companion, Otis. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Penny will be fondly remembered by her mother-in-law Katherine Running, sister-in-law Cindy Stapper, her brother-in-law Scott Running and special friends Peter and Katie Ladd, Barb Millier (late Rodney Greenham) and Cathy Cachure. Predeceased by her parents Allan and Wilhelmine (Dixon) Looby. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Sunday, August 29th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Celebration of Penny’s Life will be held in the Chapel on Monday August 30th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery at a later date. Both the visitation and Celebration of Life are casual dress. Penny was never much of a fancy-dress kind of person.
