Peacefully with his family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Tuesday April 22, 2008. William (Bill) Thomas Erwin of Brockville (formerly of Athens) age 82 years. Beloved husband of the former Mary Sheppard and the late Nora Imeson. Dear dad of Brian Erwin of Brockville, Linda Flagel (Bruce) of Toledo, Bob Erwin (Tracey) of Abbotsford, BC, David Erwin (Louise) of Brockville, Bernadine Bakker (Arie) of Osgoode, Maureen Warner (Brian) of Maynard, Gerard Leeder of Toledo, Anthony Leeder of Charleston Lake, Elaine Carley (Robert) of Beiseker, AB, Christine Schroeder (Stephen) of Athens, Colleen Leeder (Mike) of Flat Rock, NF and Marie Leeder (Victor) of Maynard. Loving grandfather of 27 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Also survived by a brother Paul Erwin (Carol) of Blackburn Hamlet as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William Erwin and his wife Mildred Wesley and a sister Margaret Stewart. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday from2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday April 26, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Athens Cemetery.
