After a brief and courageous battle entered into rest on Wednesday July 28, 2021. The former Marie Deir of Brockville aged 71 years. Marie was fortunate to have two loves in her life, she was the wife of 40 plus years to the late Murray Trickey, and loving partner of Wayne Woods. Proud Mom of Tammy Reid (Randy) and the late Christina Trickey. Cherished Nan of Mason Hutt and Joshua Reid. Step-mom of Rob and Jill. Cherished sister of Ann Whaley (Bob) and Helen Deir. Marie always felt loved and was made to feel special by Russell and June Trickey. Marie is also survived by 2 sisters-in-law Betty and Cathy Deir as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Leonard and Rosemary (Flood) Deir, brothers Ronald Flood, Patrick Deir, Gerald Deir and Raymond Deir. A Graveside Service will take place at St. James Cemetery, Ballycanoe on Saturday August 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. By request of Marie, no suits and please dress casually in bright cheerful colours.
