Peacefully entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday February 7th, 2021. Bruce McGowan of Brockville aged 77 years. Beloved husband of Doris (Thorton) McGowan. Loving father of Kirk (Lise), Anita, Michele (Curt), Wayne (Monica), Stephen (Tammy) and the late Neil. Cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dear son of the late Wilfred and Dorothy (Hamilton) McGowan; and brother of June Furlong, Barbara Sapriken and the late Joan Furlong, Margaret Gordon, George McGowan and Robert McGowan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a Celebration of Bruce’s Life will be held later.
