Dear Gord & Family,
I just learned of Bev’s passing the other day. As I mentioned to you Gord, thoughts of you both occasionally popped up in my mind.
I hope your hearts have been able to heal and the memories you shared as a family bring happy thoughts
My children were fortunate to have Bev as their teacher in Prince of Wales school. How fortunate. Bev ALWAYS went out of her way to be there for both students & parents. She was extremely caring, intuitive & present. Without a doubt I know her teaching my children has added to their successes in life. Thank-you Bev!
This was truly your calling in life. You always found the time outside of the classroom to listen to any concerns & provide the necessary resources. Outside of your profession you were a bright light in life. Always smiling, always positive. You had strengths that many of us desire. You were an Angel here on earth.
Love, peace & light to all her family

Dear Gord, Becky and Steve, Katie and Mike, John and April and families.
You will be experiencing a tremendous loss as Bev was truly a force! She was one of my hero’s. Bev was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, teacher, grandma, friend and neighbour. She always saw the glass half full. A joy to be around, with a terrific sense of humour, it was a privilege to know Bev. As a teacher she always reached out to each little child firmly with love and guidance. As you grieve you will have the opportunity to recall all the many experiences you had with her, you will realize daily what strength and courage she displayed. These are memories you will appreciate as you move forward. Bev was a teacher to the end, leaving a legacy of wonderful examples to the many lives she touched. God Bless
Most sincerely Barb & Gerry Graveline.

Dear April, John, and Family:
Mrs. Clarke's passing presents an opportunity for many people to share what a special person she was during her lifetime. I am sure that several of us noted the tributes shared by former students and colleagues about her long and dedicated service as a Teacher at Prince of Wales PS in Brockville. We cannot help but admire those who dedicate their lives to caring for others - at home and in their work; they are so deserving of enduring gratitude from each of us.
I hope these tributes sustain your family during this difficult time.
With my sincere condolences for the loss of your mother / mother-in-law / grandmother,

Dear Becky, Katie,John and Families
It is with deep sadness that I read of your Mom’s passing.Bev was a devoted primary teacher but most of all a loving and proud mother.
I always looked forward to the parent teacher interviews with her when each of you were students in my Grade 2+classroom. I don’t think we ever discussed any of your academic performances( you were all A+ students anyway!!) but just shared lots of laughs and stories about raising three great kids.It was not only a privilege to have been a friend and colleague of Bev’s but to also have shared in your lives.
May the treasured memories that each of you, your Dad and your families cherish be a strength and comfort now and in the days ahead.Rest in peace,Bev.

Bev Clarke taught Grade 1 to all 3 of our children at POW, and we got to know each other a little more during the 3 years I spent volunteering in her classroom and on field trips. Bev was a bundle of positive energy who cared about each child's individual needs and thrived on the challenge of ensuring that every child in her class learned as much as possible during their time with her. We were grateful for the solid educational foundation she gave our children. Bev was inspirational in her positive, energetic approach to the health challenges of recent years. She will be missed, but she has left a legacy in her family and former students. With sincere condolences - Peri Howlett & Frazer Lorimer

So saddened to hear of Bev's passing. I have known Bev for much of my life, having been close friends with Sylvia, especially in elementary school, and spending many overnighters at their family home. Later Bev would become teacher to both of my children at Prince of Wales school. She was a special teacher, always showing kindness and going the extra mile for her students. In later years I would periodically cross paths with Bev and she was always positive in spite of her health issues and always interested for an update on my kids. My condolences to all of the family as you mourn the loss of this great lady.

Gord and family, so sorry to hear the sad news of Bev’s passing. I remember having lunch with her and a few friends not so long ago and although she was having some health struggles she remained positive and so thankful for her family and friends. Bev had an infectious smile that always made others feel happy. We began our teaching careers together and in our younger days as always she was so full of life and fun. She will be so missed by so many but from God’s chosen place above she will always be with you. Warmest sympathy, Gillian Amos

So saddened to hear of Bev's passing but I am happy to know she's been "set free." My heart goes out to Bev's family. She will be so missed. I've known Bev pretty much my whole life. Bev was a wonderful teacher caring about every single child. Never once have I ever heard Bev complain. She was always so positive and upbeat and always thinking of others. The poem chosen by the family was chosen well. I'm certain it reflects Bev's feelings exactly. This is a loss of a very special person. Rest in peace Bev .... Dianne Phillips

Bev was on the hiring team when I interviewed and received my first permanent teaching job at POW School so many years ago. Not only was she a wonderful colleague and mentor, but a dear and very special friend as well. Bev was wise, and funny and very generous to all. The many children blessed to be in her care benefitted greatly from her compassion and dedication to successful and meaningful learning. I will miss her dearly, but take comfort in knowing that she is still here with us in the hearts and memories of so very many people fortunate enough to have had Beverly Clark in their lives.
