Obituary of Rose Tilly

Monica Rose Tilly born and raised in Newfoundland, residing in Brockville, Ontario aged 81 years. Passed peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital. As a mom and grandmother, Monica’s love in life was taking care of her family. From rocking and singing to grandchildren that she loves dearly, to always having a freshly made pie baked from scratch on hand. She made all of our holidays special and was the center piece of our family. Beloved mom of Monica Woolley and Monty Woolley (Shauna). Proud Grandma of Rhiannon, Aaron, Marissa, Montana, Thomas and Great-grandmother of Amelia and Adeline. Dear sister of Betty (predeased), Art (predeceased), Bud, Jill, Nora (predeased), Nell, John, George (predeceased), Rob and Ann. Also survived by Larry Hodgson (Faren) and by numerous other nieces and nephews. Mommy, Gram you will always be our sunshine and we love you dearly.

In keeping with Rose’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville. In memory of Rose, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society directed towards Urethra Cancer would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
