Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Monday January 04, 2021. Aleck James “Al or AJ” Klimas of Brockville, at 87 years. Predeceased by beloved wife Kathleen Elizabeth “Kay” Klimas (nee Robinson), brother Ludwig “Rick” and dear son, Timothy. Dear father of Michael of Elizabethtown and David (Stephanie) of Russell. Proud grandfather of Erin Carter (Kris) of Russell and Megan Klimas (Ken) of Edmonton. Extra proud great-grandfather of Hailey and Jack Carter. Brother-in-law of Barry Robinson (Penny), Grant Robinson (Nicole), the late Carol Gosling (Phil) and Uncle Al to many nieces and nephews. Al enjoyed travelling the world with family, spending time at the cottage and a career of over 40 years as a chemical engineer in the petroleum and petrochemical industry. A Celebration of Al’s Life and Interment will be at a later date.
